Tease Me (Private Listing #4)

“The receptionist just put through a call to Deidre. She’s talking to the spy now.” Theo pauses.

“Tracking?” Let this work. We need a win.

“I’m closing in on it.”

I blow out a breath. This unfortunately won’t hold up in court, but at least we’ll know the players. That’s more than we know at the moment. Except for Andrea.

It would make sense if she were a player trying to take down our business. She’s a bitter bitch.

“Let me know when it’s done.”

“Will do,” Theo says.

I end the call. What if all roads lead to our major fuckup? What if Andrea is playing us so perfectly that we can’t even tell right from wrong?

She saw behind the curtain. She knows us on a level few do. Madison is closer to all of us, but Andrea was with us for a while. Unlike Madison, she never demanded monogamy, and I was happy to find others to fuck. There were times though that convenience won out, or Seth wanted to watch. I’m always happy to be watched.

The whole situation wasn’t ideal. The way she treated Noah made me furious. She fucked him, but she treated him like a job. Just something she needed to do to get paid. Not that we paid her for sex, but she obviously had a major boner for Blake.

Or at least we thought she did until she blackmailed us.

A gentle knock sounds on my door.

“Come in.”

The door opens and Madison stands uncertain in the doorframe. I gesture her in.

“Lock the door behind you.”

Her eyes widen but she does as I ask.

“Are you okay?” she asks as she approaches my desk.

I lean back and gesture to a chair opposite me. She sinks into the seat.

“Theo might have something on the corporate spy.”

She smiles. “That’s great.”

“It won’t hold up since we didn’t involve the authorities, but it means we might narrow down the suspect pool.” I run my finger over my bottom lip. “Did you need something?”

She glances at the door and runs her hands over her skirt. Her gaze drops to her lap. “I didn’t want you to think I was blowing you off in the break room. I just don’t feel comfortable around Patrick. Maybe because I used to babysit his kids and now he knows I’m a whore for you guys.”

“You’re not a whore.” I stand and come around the desk. I drop to one knee before her and take her cold hands into mine, rubbing them to warm them up.

She looks at me with those pretty blue eyes, so uncertain. “I agreed to have sex with my bosses after meeting them once.”

“That doesn’t make you a whore.” I squeeze her hands. “I might enjoy calling you that as part of a game, but I don’t believe for one second you’re a whore.”

She blows out a breath. “But what if he thinks?—‍”

“You think I give a damn what he thinks? What anyone thinks?” Pulling her against me, I drag her onto my lap as I sit on the floor. I brush a piece of her hair off her face. “I love you, and that’s a lot coming from me. If anyone’s a whore, it was me before I met you. I don’t care about what other people think. I was raised to act a certain way and behave a certain way or else, but fuck that noise. You and me and the guys have something most people would kill for.”

She cups my jaw and searches my eyes. “I love you, Coop. You’re not a whore either.”

Smirking, I lean my forehead against hers. “I don’t know,” I tease. “I’m pretty sure most people think I’m a whore.”

She leans in and kisses me sweetly. Before I can draw her closer and deepen the kiss, my phone rings.
