Twist the Knife (Lost Kings MC #24)

Denying my need to see Margot feels like riding through the desert and refusing the most basic urge to stop and quench my thirst.

I don’t need anyone. Never have. Never will.

All I need is my bike, my club, and a full tank of gas.

But I really want to see her.

For our second lesson, of course.

So when she sends me a how are you text, I take it as a sign she’s ready for our next lesson and can’t get my horny ass there soon enough.

She greets me at the back door of the funeral home, looking sinfully cute in a bright yellow T-shirt, bright green terry cloth shorts, and fluffy blue booties. Her blonde curls are brushed into a high ponytail but little damp frizzies stick out around her ears—like she just stepped out of the shower. Except for slightly glossy lips, she’s makeup-free, her eyes sparkling under the soft golden lighting.

“Hey,” she says softly. “It’s been a while. I wasn’t sure if you were?—”

I flick a quick glance down the hallway. We seem to be alone, the house still, lights low. I lean down and kiss her cheek. “Been a lot of stuff going on, but I was happy to hear from you.”

Pink floods her cheeks. She holds out her hand to me. “Come on up.”

“Seems quiet here tonight,” I say, curling my fingers around hers and following her up the stairs.

“A merciful break from the madness.”

Having her lush ass right in front of my face as we ascend the stairs is hell on my restraint. The little shorts show off a lot of her thick thighs that I’ve been dying to have wrapped around my head.

I want her so much, there’s a void in my chest and I’m afraid she’s the only woman who can fill it.

Once we pass the second floor, I squeeze her ass.

She squeals and runs faster up the stairs.

“Where do you think you’re going?” I rush after her.

The door’s not closed all the way. She pushes right into her apartment with me close behind her.

“What’re you doing teasing me with these sexy little shorts?” I pull her into my arms.

“These?” She frowns and tries to glance down but I have her pressed to me tight. “Here I was worried you’d be insulted I was so casual.”

“Not at all.” I lean down and press my lips to hers.

She slips her arms around my neck and squirms against my body. I lift her higher, and she wraps her legs around me.

“Yeah, that’s it.” I palm her ass, sliding my fingers under her shorts. “You need a review of lesson one or are you ready to dive into lesson number two?” I don’t even care about the answer, as long as I get my mouth and hands on her naked body tonight.

“I wouldn’t mind a quick review of our previous lesson.” She tilts her head, a smile threatening to break free on her face. “Just to make sure all the information stuck.”

“Excellent.” I spin us toward her lounge chair, but she leans in, kissing along my jaw.

“My bedroom’s that way,” she whispers in my ear.

“Fuck, yes.” I assume she’s pointing in the opposite direction, so that’s where I go.

Tonight, the door’s open. I don’t take much time looking at the details, other than the queen-sized bed neatly made up with a colorful floral quilt and dozens of fluffy pillows.

I set her on the bed, and she scoots into the center and leans back on her elbows.

“Casual.” I scoff as I slip my cut off my shoulders and set it on top of the nightstand, never taking my eyes off of her. “You’re way too sexy for any outfit to ever be casual.”
