“Can we not talk about the stalker or the spy any more tonight?” I set my fork down and meet their concerned eyes. “It’s like my head is full from all this. We have to put a leash on Elizabeth tomorrow, hope the spy falls for the honey trap, and wait for the stalker to mess up and reveal themselves.”
Noah takes my hand on the table and it helps center me. There’s one issue I can deal with tonight though.
I settle on Blake’s green eyes. “We need to have a talk.”
He straightens. “Okay.”
“This isn’t just about you and me. We’re stronger together, and that means I need to know that you’ll try to trust me.” I squeeze Noah’s hand, probably harder than I should, but if Blake can’t try, we’re irrevocably damaged. I don’t know what that means for all of us, because I can’t just wall off part of my heart.
“I can trust you, love. I know it on so many levels, but there’s this nagging fear.”
“So let’s work on it together.” I release my grip on Noah’s hand. “We can spend time talking about everything. Our pasts. But I know my future includes you in it, so we need to work through this.”
“I’m all in, Madison.” Blake’s gaze never falters.
“I can’t play with you alone until we get our trust back.” I swallow at his wince. “But that doesn’t mean we can’t play all together.”
It’s a concession I need to make because if I keep excluding him, it will only form a wedge between us. I don’t want it to be us against him. I don’t want him to be left out.
Blake’s shoulders visibly relax.
“When I submit to you, I give you all my trust. If you aren’t putting all your trust in me, I can’t give you that.” Tears press at the back of my eyes, but I swallow them down. “But I can put my trust in all of you to take care of me.”
Blake nods and looks thoughtful as we all resume eating silently.
“We’ll all sleep in my room tonight.” I glance at Blake in time to see the smile tug at his lips. He has trouble sleeping when he needs to protect me and I’m not in his bed.
I glance at Seth. I love when he takes control, but we’re still healing and need time.
“Noah can decide how tonight goes.” I meet Seth’s blue eyes, and he gives me a nod of approval. Some of the tension unwinds within me.
“As your fiancé, I should be the one directing how everyone takes you.” Coop’s heated gaze takes in every inch of me, making my breasts grow heavy and panties damp.
Noah laughs. “But she knows she can dominate you any time she wants.”
My gaze collides with Blake’s. He gives me a half smile and some part of me settles. This will be good for all of us.
Chapter 148
Compounding Interest
Madison
The dishes are done and we’ve tidied up the kitchen. Now we sit in the living room, waiting for Noah’s plan. We could just fuck, but it feels like we need something to bring us back together.
While I enjoy being used and submitting, I want more than that tonight. Coop sits next to me on the couch with his fingers skating up and down the inside of my thigh. My skin buzzes with anticipation, and every stroke sets electricity zinging through my blood. Blake sits on the other couch, drinking a scotch. His heavy gaze never leaves me.
Seth walks over and sits on my other side, taking my hand. He weaves our fingers together, and I lean my head against his shoulder, grateful that we’ve reconciled. It’s been about fifteen minutes since Noah disappeared into the play room.
“You know…” Coop slides his hand higher up my thigh beneath my skirt. “You don’t want to ruin this pretty dress with whatever Noah is planning.”
I bite my lip as his fingers graze my panties. I’m beyond ready to play with my guys.
“Stand, princess.” Seth’s commanding tone sends shivers down my back. I’ve missed this.
When I stand, I glance over my shoulder at Blake. He raises his glass to me before he takes a sip. He’s willing to take a back seat on this because he thinks that’s what I need. I hold my hand out to him. I need him to be part of us. We can sort through the mess later. He walks over to me and sets his drink down.
My front faces Seth and Coop on the couch, while Blake stands beside my arm. Blake reaches out and takes my chin, tipping my face up and toward him. Anticipation cascades through me like sparks raining down. For a second, we just search each other’s eyes.
