“Sounds good. I’m going over to talk to Devon and Crawford. They seem to be in a heated discussion.”
Maggie chuckled since she knew the truth that Devon and Crawford were smoking cigars. Paolo rarely smoked, but somehow he couldn’t resist a good cigar.
Chelsea sat in Paolo’s chair and looked at Maggie. “I won’t push you to tell me what happened with Millie, but I insist that you clue me in first thing in the morning.”
Maggie nodded. “You’re not going to be the only one to hear about this tomorrow. I’m calling a family meeting, and by family, I mean everyone. Devon included.”
“Devon? What does he have to do with this?”
“Nothing, but I’m going to need proper real estate legal advice and he knows just about everyone in the business.”
“Maggie, you’re scaring me.”
“Scared? Don’t be. If you want something to be afraid of, take a look over there.”
“Where?” Chelsea asked.
“Over near the band. It looks like Isabella and my mother have found each other. Fasten your seatbelt, it looks the party has just begun.
