Not princess. Okay, he’s testing me. I raise an eyebrow at him. “Will I be jealous watching some other woman paw you like she owns you?”
“Completely clothed, most likely in a tuxedo, but yes. Probably photos online.”
Shrugging, I try to appear nonchalant even as my heart races. “As long as you come home and fuck me instead of her, what do I have to be jealous of?”
Coop laughs. “Fuck, I like her.”
Shaking my head at him, I lean in. “I’m here for my career and the future Morrigan Technology can offer me. I’m also here because I enjoy having sex with all of you.”
I wouldn’t have been surprised if Coop stood up and dropped his boxers, but he just slides his hand over his erection while his eyes hold mine.
I swallow and turn away from the temptation. “I know you’ve had issues with other women before. They wanted more from one or all of you. We don’t know each other very well.”
Coop snorts.
I shake my head and blink at him. “We haven’t had a lot of conversations. Or get-to-know-you type things besides getting to know each other’s bodies. Which is good and I love it.”
My tongue trips a little on the L-word. I wish I hadn’t said it, but at least I hadn’t applied it to any of them. I clear my throat.
“What you’ve done for me just this past week…” I take a breath as my voice trembles a little. “You’ve taken me in and protected me. I haven’t had anyone in my life for a long time who would do that for me.”
“We’d do it all over again.” Blake rocks in his chair as his green eyes meet mine.
Smiling, I say, “I grew up wanting to make my own money, my own imprint on this world. I don’t want anything from you that you aren’t willing to give me. Knowledge, experience, and really great sex.”
Coop grins. Before anyone can interrupt me, I need to get out the next bit.
“I know we won’t be going public with this at any point.” That tears a little at my heart. “But that doesn’t matter. As long as you are…” mine. I can’t say it, so I clear my throat again and reach for the glass of water. I take a moment to drink and settle my thudding heart. “As long as you are committed to me for the duration of our agreement, I’ll be committed to you.”
I’ll be yours.
The words tremble in my chest. Noah said it to me when we were alone, but I can’t say it to all of them. I can give them my heart and body freely, but I need to keep some part of myself safe from the fallout.

The Arrangement

“We want to get to know you better.” Seth leans forward, his elbows on the table. “And not just sexually. You’re a hard worker, and we can tell you’re devoted to making this work for everyone.”
I recross my legs as the guys murmur their agreement.
“We’ll continue the current sleep rotation.” Seth brings his hands together on the table as he meets everyone’s eyes. When his dark blue eyes land on me, they hold me still. “That way, everyone gets time alone with you.”
I blush as I think of Coop in Blake’s bed this morning. It seems like everyone is okay sharing time. This entire week has been a whole lot of sex. And I’m definitely here for it.
“If you need time to yourself”—his lips soften at the corners—“please tell us. We don’t need to monopolize all your time. It’s good if you have some life besides us.”
“Hope is coming over on Sunday to watch The Witcher with me.” I want friends outside of them. I need to connect with other people, especially for when this ends. “When things get back to normal, I’d like to hang out with her more outside of the building too.”
Seth takes a breath and blows it out. “There’s not much new information on your assault case or the camera in your bathroom. Right now, they suspect your roommate and her boyfriend of planting it.”
“Though from the tech used,” Blake says, “I would assume someone else funded it even if she installed it. It’s expensive. They were shaking you down for money. If they knew the camera was there, why didn’t they take that and pawn it?”
My hands tremble as I reach for my water. That camera. The person watching me. It’s still too raw in my chest. Someone watched me get myself off. Who knows how many times? Who’s to say there wasn’t a camera in my bedroom and they just didn’t have it live when Blake and I were there?
At least here, I’m safe.
